Being a childcare provider means being part of a team – a team that is working toward one goal – happy kids! Parents and caregivers are such an important piece of the puzzle, and communication is key. As a mother myself with a background in ABA therapy, I have a lot of experience working with all types of children, and have learned so much from them over the years. Most importantly, I’ve learned that every child is unique and special in their own way, and that every child has the ability to learn and grow in the right environment! I am so grateful for all the precious moments I get to be a part of, and that I get to teach children about the beauty of life, and how much they can bring to the world just by being themselves.
A daily routine is important, especially for young children. When a child knows what to expect, they feel safe, secure, and ready to learn and grow! For this reason, we have a set schedule during our days together, one that is full of activity - singing, dancing, creating, crafting, and outdoor time. The children really enjoy using their imaginations during pretend play – the stories and scenarios they create with each other are so incredibly creative and inspired! In my program we occasionally do activities to prepare for kindergarten, and we get lots of exercise during the day – in fact, we begin the day with wiggles and movement at our morning warmup. On holidays, we work on special projects and art, and the children get so excited to take their finished work home and share it with loved ones!
A quality child care program can make a big difference in a child’s life! Children in my program usually go straight to kindergarten after they leave my home, and I really enjoy working with kids and their families to get them ready for that next step. I see everything as a learning opportunity – from an educational worksheet to the grapevine in my backyard – in the fall those vines turn into a very tasty lesson on how plants grow and what they need to thrive! I have a background in ABA therapy and have worked with many different types of learners. Every single child I have worked with has taught me an immense amount about the importance of consistency, patience, and trust, and these are the very things on which my home daycare program is built.

“They may forget what you said, but they will not forget how you made them feel.”
~ Carl BuechnerHere’s the inside scoop from other parents that have worked with Ms. Saira.
I've known Ms. Saira for a long time, my kids like her so much. They are always happy to be with her, she takes good care of them. I rely her and always feel carefree when they are with her. She is professional , responsible, and a very kind lady. I strongly recommend her.
She is amazing and warm. She always gave me updates on how my child 's day went. She took good care of my kids when my son's were 2 years old and 7 years old. She's really loving and caring.
Daycare rates depend on how old your child will be and what your schedule looks like. 5 days / week might get a slight discount, and infant rates are usually more than toddlers’. Finding a spot also depends on age and schedule because each daycare has a limited number of openings for each age range.

Your family is unique to you, but some of your questions might not be. 😉 Here’s what most parents want to know when starting out.
Most first-time parents don’t know exactly what they’re looking for, so we created a simple survey that will ask you questions about your lifestyle, your daily routines, and your preferences for child care. We’ll then share 3 personalized recommendations that we think might be a good fit. We’ll also give you a timeline that maps out when we would suggest you start touring programs, choose a daycare, and pay a deposit to secure a spot. Your timeline is based on when you want to start care - so you set the pace, and you decide when you’ve found the right match.
Nope. Our daycare recommendation service is free for parents. The other half of our business is helping these small-scale daycares with software and services that handle all their administrative tasks, like online contracting, payment processing, and licensing requirements. Before NeighborSchools, services like these were only designed for large corporate child care centers, and part of our mission is to level the playing field for small, independent child care programs. That’s why we picked the name NeighborSchools - we’re all about making child care more personal, more human, and more equitable for the incredible individuals who do this work and care for our children.
Generally, if you’re here, you’re ready. The survey lets us give you 3 recommendations to consider, but it’ll also help you better understand what factors to consider, and what questions to be asking right now. It’s simple things like where you live, your child’s date of birth, when you want to start care, and if you have any preferences around program philosophy or language of instruction. If you’re planning 6+ months ahead, it’s a great way to get started, and if you’re hoping to start daycare in the next 2-4 months, it’s definitely time to get started. Click here to start the survey.
Each program has a limited number of spots for each age range, so we need to know your schedule and child’s age before we can share availability. The survey covers these basics, as well as factors like drop-off and pick-up times to make sure that recommended programs fit your daily routine. Once we know your child’s age and schedule we can share rates and costs as well.
We’re online Monday - Friday from 8am to 6pm Eastern.
