I am a proud mother of two young children, ages 2 and 5, and I am passionate about childhood development. Young children are like sponges, and what they learn when they are little will shape their whole lives. Combining my love for working with children and my business experience, I aim to bring a high-quality Family Child Care program to our neighborhood in Woburn.
With kids, every day is different. My program is structured around a variety of games and activities that promote physical, artistic, and social development. We play outside, visit local museums—whatever the kids like and will help them grow and learn. I want them to develop their bodies and minds, while also having fun.
My home is located at the end of a dead-end street in a lovely residential neighborhood. We have a great sun-lit playroom and use my kitchen and dining room for mealtimes and messy activities like arts & crafts and sensory activities. We have a large yard with riders for the kids to run around and play.

“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”
~ Benjamin FranklinHere’s the inside scoop from other parents that have worked with Ms. Mahmuda.
Mahmuda and I lived together for 6.5 years and have remained close friends ever since. She is like a sister to me but also a great mother and friend; she often helped me take care of my own daughter when I was sick or busy, even staying with me in the hospital when I was away from my family. Mahmuda always puts kids before herself. She once sold her own business to spend more time with her son when he came down with an illness. Her professionalism and motivation to help others is so clear when I watch her work with kids, she treats each child as if they're her own.
Mahmuda is fantastic! She is patient and loving to my son and it shows! During drop off, my son smiles and reaches out to her. At the end of the day, he's a happy baby and I chat and catch up with Mahmuda. She takes time to tell me about how the day went and we catch up on other things too! Her children are friendly and very social. They often stop out and say hi and tell me about their day or show me something. It's a warm, loving household.
I met Mahmuda at a birthday party our children were invited to and I was instantly impressed with how much she knew about child care. I am a first time mom, and my husband is very busy with work. Whenever I need help, Mahmuda is there to watch my kids and she's always sharing tips and tricks to be a more effective parent. I have learned so much from her, I don't know what I would have done without her friendly presence.
Mahmuda has been great with our daughter. She has cared for her since she was 3 months old (minus the COVID closure) and loves and cares for her like her own daughter. We highly recommend her.
Mahmuda is such a sweet and caring woman. She is nurturing and educational. She is detail oriented with everything she does. Great experience!
Daycare rates depend on how old your child will be and what your schedule looks like. 5 days / week might get a slight discount, and infant rates are usually more than toddlers’. Finding a spot also depends on age and schedule because each daycare has a limited number of openings for each age range.

Your family is unique to you, but some of your questions might not be. 😉 Here’s what most parents want to know when starting out.
Most first-time parents don’t know exactly what they’re looking for, so we created a simple survey that will ask you questions about your lifestyle, your daily routines, and your preferences for child care. We’ll then share 3 personalized recommendations that we think might be a good fit. We’ll also give you a timeline that maps out when we would suggest you start touring programs, choose a daycare, and pay a deposit to secure a spot. Your timeline is based on when you want to start care - so you set the pace, and you decide when you’ve found the right match.
Nope. Our daycare recommendation service is free for parents. The other half of our business is helping these small-scale daycares with software and services that handle all their administrative tasks, like online contracting, payment processing, and licensing requirements. Before NeighborSchools, services like these were only designed for large corporate child care centers, and part of our mission is to level the playing field for small, independent child care programs. That’s why we picked the name NeighborSchools - we’re all about making child care more personal, more human, and more equitable for the incredible individuals who do this work and care for our children.
Generally, if you’re here, you’re ready. The survey lets us give you 3 recommendations to consider, but it’ll also help you better understand what factors to consider, and what questions to be asking right now. It’s simple things like where you live, your child’s date of birth, when you want to start care, and if you have any preferences around program philosophy or language of instruction. If you’re planning 6+ months ahead, it’s a great way to get started, and if you’re hoping to start daycare in the next 2-4 months, it’s definitely time to get started. Click here to start the survey.
Each program has a limited number of spots for each age range, so we need to know your schedule and child’s age before we can share availability. The survey covers these basics, as well as factors like drop-off and pick-up times to make sure that recommended programs fit your daily routine. Once we know your child’s age and schedule we can share rates and costs as well.
We’re online Monday - Friday from 8am to 6pm Eastern.
