Our mission is to make childcare better for everyone. What does our mission mean to you?
Over a million moms are unable to go back to work because they lack child care. I know first-hand how challenging it is to find really good, affordable child care. So, I joined NeighborSchools to reimagine child care with a model that puts people first and makes sure that moms (like myself) can get back to work.
Tell us about your career growth so far at NeighborSchools.
Our team sees the enormity of the need and the potential opportunity to fundamentally change child care as we know it. So, we’ve built a culture that is solutions-oriented and collaborative. We’re constantly iterating our product to better support our child care providers. I’ve been able to wear multiple hats and gain skills across different teams (think: account executive, product manager, customer success).
We’re fully remote! How have you maintained and developed relationships with your teammates?
Instead of drinking coffee in the break room, I have weekly coffee chats with my teammates over Zoom. It’s been great to individually connect with all my amazing teammates.
