About Me

I have worked in the daycare field for over 25 years. I have also taken courses at Quinsigamond Community College in Early Childhood Development. From the moment I received the EEC Certificate in 1988, I knew that working with children was my calling. I wake up every morning and enjoy going to...

I strive to help the kiddos meet every single goal that parents have for them. I focus on their learning levels, from fine and gross motor to socialization skills, and help them grow to the next level. My home is a school and a home away from home for the children. The children feel that they are...

Environment

I have 3 rooms that we use for the program all with age-appropriate learning toys and books. In the infant area we have cribs, and different activities for babies, such as painting, a little water table, shakers, rattlers, books, stuffed animals, and floor activities. For toddlers we have blocks,...

NeighborSchools
The NeighborSchools Difference

Unlike Care.com, Yelp, or SitterCity, here at NeighborSchools we only partner with Licensed Home Daycare & Preschool Providers. These high-quality small-scale programs allow for better ratios, meaning more individualized attention for your little one. In Massachusetts, all Providers are licensed by the Dept. of Early Education & Care (EEC).

In order to receive and maintain a license from the EEC, Providers must:
  • Complete training in Safe Sleep, Childhood Nutrition, Medication Administration, and Transportation Safety
  • Undergo a rigorous home environment inspection & unannounced monitoring visits from EEC Licensors throughout the year
  • Maintain current Pediatric CPR & First Aid certificates
  • Complete a 3-part background record check, including fingerprints
  • Complete 10+ hours of professional development training annually

Many parents don‘t realize that Licensed Home Daycare & Preschool is regulated just like center-based child care. The biggest difference is that with Home Daycare your child is in the care of one experienced Provider who is wholly devoted to the children in their program. Children get the individualized attention and continuity of care they need to thrive; you get a more affordable child care option conveniently located right in your neighborhood.
