Daycare programs are an important part of any community! I first started working with kids as a daycare assistant, and I loved it so much I decided to go out on my own and start my own program. I have two children of my own and one of them will be my assistant – I love having her alongside me, and we really work together to make sure the children are learning and growing. We have a lot of experience and are always ready to help the families in our program.
Kids love to be active! My program is play based, and the kids have fun playing with one another and taking part in activities like singing, dancing, arts & crafts. My program is Spanish immersion so kids will have an amazing opportunity to learn in two languages here. Outdoor play is a favorite part of the day for the kids, and I really enjoy getting everyone together for circle time in the mornings – it’s a wonderful way to start off the day. We love to celebrate holidays and special occasions, and there are a lot of smiles and laughter here.
My daycare program is special - my daughter and husband work as my assistants, and our daycare kids become just like family to us. We work very well together, and the kids get lots of attention. The finished basement of my home is reserved just for my program, and we have a fenced in backyard that gives the kids a place to play and learn outdoors. Over the years I’ve helped many kids with the transition from their own homes. Some kids have a hard time at first, and I go out of my way to give them extra care and nurturing until they feel at home here!

There are 11 home daycares in Randolph. Most care for 6 to 10 children and take both infants and toddlers. All home daycares are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care, just like preschool centers.

The other half of our business is helping these small-scale daycares with software and services that handle all their administrative tasks, like online contracting, payment processing, and licensing requirements. Before NeighborSchools, services like these were only designed for large corporate child care centers, and part of our mission is to level the playing field for small, independent child care programs. That’s why we picked the name NeighborSchools - we’re all about making child care more personal, more human, and more equitable for the incredible individuals who do this work and care for our children.

Each program has a limited number of spots for each age range, so we need to know your schedule and child’s age before we can share availability. The survey covers these basics, as well as factors like drop-off and pick-up times to make sure that recommended programs fit your daily routine. Once we know your child’s age and schedule we can share rates and costs as well.
