About Me

I have a big family, so there were always a lot of babies. I was seven when my sister was born, and I was amazed! I got upset if I couldn’t do everything for her. I cared for kids in the family and friends’ kids, and I loved it! As soon as I could get a job, I looked for work taking care of...

No matter the age of the child, I value play and creativity. I like to give the kids opportunities to try things and explore, and I like to meet kids where they are. I know that when they’re messy, that means they’re learning....

Our program is located in the comfortable and homey living room, back porch, and side yard of my home. We have designated spaces for activities such as story time, arts and crafts, and circle time. NeighborSchools
The NeighborSchools Difference

Unlike Care.com, Yelp, or SitterCity, here at NeighborSchools we only partner with Licensed Home Daycare & Preschool Providers. These high-quality small-scale programs allow for better ratios, meaning more individualized attention for your little one. In Massachusetts, all Providers are licensed by the Dept. of Early Education & Care (EEC).

In order to receive and maintain a license from the EEC, Providers must:
  • Complete training in Safe Sleep, Childhood Nutrition, Medication Administration, and Transportation Safety
  • Undergo a rigorous home environment inspection & unannounced monitoring visits from EEC Licensors throughout the year
  • Maintain current Pediatric CPR & First Aid certificates
  • Complete a 3-part background record check, including fingerprints
  • Complete 10+ hours of professional development training annually

Many parents don‘t realize that Licensed Home Daycare & Preschool is regulated just like center-based child care. The biggest difference is that with Home Daycare your child is in the care of one experienced Provider who is wholly devoted to the children in their program. Children get the individualized attention and continuity of care they need to thrive; you get a more affordable child care option conveniently located right in your neighborhood.
