I live for educating children! With a focus on a Montessori approach in my Spanish immersion program, the little ones will enjoy independence and culture while I nurture their curiosity and encourage their development! My favorite thing about caring for children is watching them learn and grow. That has been a highlight for me throughout my 31 years of experience. I have worked as an early childhood educator in early childhood education programs, and most recently I have been running my own program. People have said that I create an environment that is encouraging and welcoming. I focus on giving children personalized attention, and I especially love to read books to them. I’m proud when I think about all the children I've helped grow and learn. That's what makes this work so special.
I want the children in my program to receive lots of individual attention, and having a small group of children allows me to make that happen. I focus on academic and social readiness, and I use my knowledge and prior experiences to adjust my program and meet individual children’s needs. We follow a daily routine that can vary according to child age and interest. Usually, days begin with our entrance routine and include circle time, curriculum-based lessons and activities, motor skills development, story time, and project time. One of my favorite times of day is story time. It's so much fun to watch them learn and grow. I'm so grateful to parents for trusting me with their children. I want all families to know that I am a teacher who will use my skills and experience to help their children develop.
My program takes place in the finished basement of my Newton home. As a Montessori teacher I want the children to feel at home, so space is stimulating and child-friendly, with designated areas for Montessori independent work, napping, circle time, dramatic play, and music and movement. We also go on neighborhood walks and on trips to the local playground.

“"The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experiences.””
~ Maria MontessoriHere’s the inside scoop from other parents that have worked with Ms. Lili.
Ms. Lili is in her true vocation as an educator. She is a delightfully warm yet professional teacher that employs the Montessori method in the course of the day. Ms. Lili took care of our kids (6 and 2 years old) during the pandemic, she was even more careful than we were for COVID safety. Always on time, reliable to a fault, flexible when we had extra child-care needs. My kids flourished under her care - they still do some of the science activities she introduced to us and still speak some Spanish from her teaching them. She is easy to communicate with (in English for me) and provides that structure and rich environment in which children thrive. I would recommend Ms. Lili's school to anyone that wants their child to learn in a welcoming environment tailored to their child's interests.
My husband and I loved working with Ms Lili! She taught my 5 year old twin boys. She was professional, thoughtful, extremely patient, experienced and knowledgeable. She stroke an excellent balance—sweet and supportive of the kid’s wants and firm but loving guidance towards what they needed and we wanted for them. Ms. Lili is observant. She got to know my boys quickly and found creative ways to engage them in learning, fostering their interests. I love how she was respectful of the boys as individuals. My boys were more fluent Spanish after they spent time with Ms. Lili. I would have absolutely no hesitation working with her and trusting her with my children again.
Ms. Lili is an amazing educator! She does a wonderful job making learning fun and engaging. She is also very caring--our boys bonded with her quickly and formed a special relationship with her. We feel fortunate that our children had the opportunity to learn with her.
Lili’s approach to learning, her warm, caring personality and her dedication to the kids has been amazing. I can’t recommend her enough.
Daycare rates depend on how old your child will be and what your schedule looks like. 5 days / week might get a slight discount, and infant rates are usually more than toddlers’. Finding a spot also depends on age and schedule because each daycare has a limited number of openings for each age range.

Your family is unique to you, but some of your questions might not be. 😉 Here’s what most parents want to know when starting out.
Most first-time parents don’t know exactly what they’re looking for, so we created a simple survey that will ask you questions about your lifestyle, your daily routines, and your preferences for child care. We’ll then share 3 personalized recommendations that we think might be a good fit. We’ll also give you a timeline that maps out when we would suggest you start touring programs, choose a daycare, and pay a deposit to secure a spot. Your timeline is based on when you want to start care - so you set the pace, and you decide when you’ve found the right match.
Nope. Our daycare recommendation service is free for parents. The other half of our business is helping these small-scale daycares with software and services that handle all their administrative tasks, like online contracting, payment processing, and licensing requirements. Before NeighborSchools, services like these were only designed for large corporate child care centers, and part of our mission is to level the playing field for small, independent child care programs. That’s why we picked the name NeighborSchools - we’re all about making child care more personal, more human, and more equitable for the incredible individuals who do this work and care for our children.
Generally, if you’re here, you’re ready. The survey lets us give you 3 recommendations to consider, but it’ll also help you better understand what factors to consider, and what questions to be asking right now. It’s simple things like where you live, your child’s date of birth, when you want to start care, and if you have any preferences around program philosophy or language of instruction. If you’re planning 6+ months ahead, it’s a great way to get started, and if you’re hoping to start daycare in the next 2-4 months, it’s definitely time to get started. Click here to start the survey.
Each program has a limited number of spots for each age range, so we need to know your schedule and child’s age before we can share availability. The survey covers these basics, as well as factors like drop-off and pick-up times to make sure that recommended programs fit your daily routine. Once we know your child’s age and schedule we can share rates and costs as well.
We’re online Monday - Friday from 8am to 6pm Eastern.
