About Me

My whole life has been dedicated to providing the best childcare possible. From nannying, to completing my degree in Early Childhood Education, to mothering my own two precious little ones, to home daycare - I've done it all and I love it all! Having just moved to a new neighborhood, I can't wait...

I want the children in my program to develop independence, and having a small group of children allows me to make that happen. I focus on allowing children to express themselves, and I use my knowledge and prior experiences to meet individual children’s needs. We follow a daily routine that can...

Environment

My program takes place in the finished basement of my Methuen home. I want the children to feel at home here, so the space is stimulating and child-friendly, with designated areas for outdoor play, free play, arts and crafts, circle time, and projects. We also spend lots of time outside playing in...

NeighborSchools
The NeighborSchools Difference

Unlike Care.com, Yelp, or SitterCity, here at NeighborSchools we only partner with Licensed Home Daycare & Preschool Providers. These high-quality small-scale programs allow for better ratios, meaning more individualized attention for your little one. In Massachusetts, all Providers are licensed by the Dept. of Early Education & Care (EEC).

In order to receive and maintain a license from the EEC, Providers must:
  • Complete training in Safe Sleep, Childhood Nutrition, Medication Administration, and Transportation Safety
  • Undergo a rigorous home environment inspection & unannounced monitoring visits from EEC Licensors throughout the year
  • Maintain current Pediatric CPR & First Aid certificates
  • Complete a 3-part background record check, including fingerprints
  • Complete 10+ hours of professional development training annually

Many parents don‘t realize that Licensed Home Daycare & Preschool is regulated just like center-based child care. The biggest difference is that with Home Daycare your child is in the care of one experienced Provider who is wholly devoted to the children in their program. Children get the individualized attention and continuity of care they need to thrive; you get a more affordable child care option conveniently located right in your neighborhood.
