About Me

My favorite thing about caring for children is knowing that I influence their growth and development. That has been a highlight for me throughout my 16 years of experience. I have worked as an early childhood educator in daycare centers, and most recently I have been teaching pre-K....

Environment

I have dedicated the finished basement of my Lawrence home to my program. The space is child-friendly and inviting because I know this becomes like a second home to many children. The organization of the space facilitates our daily schedule, and there are special areas for sensory activities, arts...

The NeighborSchools Difference

Unlike Care.com, Yelp, or SitterCity, here at NeighborSchools we only partner with Licensed Home Daycare & Preschool Providers. These high-quality small-scale programs allow for better ratios, meaning more individualized attention for your little one. In Massachusetts, all Providers are licensed by the Dept. of Early Education & Care (EEC).

In order to receive and maintain a license from the EEC, Providers must:
  • Complete training in Safe Sleep, Childhood Nutrition, Medication Administration, and Transportation Safety
  • Undergo a rigorous home environment inspection & unannounced monitoring visits from EEC Licensors throughout the year
  • Maintain current Pediatric CPR & First Aid certificates
  • Complete a 3-part background record check, including fingerprints
  • Complete 10+ hours of professional development training annually

Many parents don‘t realize that Licensed Home Daycare & Preschool is regulated just like center-based child care. The biggest difference is that with Home Daycare your child is in the care of one experienced Provider who is wholly devoted to the children in their program. Children get the individualized attention and continuity of care they need to thrive; you get a more affordable child care option conveniently located right in your neighborhood.
