When smaller is better, home daycare is the best. Find great options for infants & toddlers near you.
My love for children started with my own. As a mom of five, I spent over 20 years caring for children â and learning from them in the process. Just from my own children, Iâve learned the importance of how a comfortable and welcoming space can make a child prosper. Once they feel comfortable in their space, children feel free to express and explore who they are. I take the same loving approach to each child who walks through my door. Here you will be cared for and here you will grow.
Kids grow so much in the years before school, and I love being part of that! My daycare is full of special moments, and I give kids lots of love and encouragement every day. I became fascinated by child development while raising my own kids, and then went back to school for my degree. Using my real-life experience and the skills I learned in my classes is so rewarding â itâs what I am meant to do, and I love it! I really encourage kids and give them wonderful care in a friendly and positive environment.
Children and parents love Ms. Jenniferâs daycare for its small-scale, personal feel. Fully licensed by the state, her program focuses on infants and toddlers, and the mixed-age range helps children learn to socialize in a small group setting. Parents often prefer home daycare when looking for options that are closer to home, where they can develop a long-term relationship with the provider. Many come to see the provider as an extension of the family, leaning on them for advice on all sorts of parenting questions. Check out Ms. Jenniferâs full profile and take the survey to see if she is a good match for your family.
Teaching and guiding children is my calling! I am a natural caregiver and was always the babysitter in the family! Even as a young person, I knew how much I loved caring for kids â and having and raising my own daughter only confirmed that even more! I have such a passion for teaching and facilitating learning â and getting to see the kids develop socially and emotionally as a result of that passion is really amazing!

Your family is unique to you, but some of your questions might not be. đ Hereâs what most parents want to know when starting out.
Most first-time parents donât know exactly what theyâre looking for, so we created a simple survey that will ask you questions about your lifestyle, your daily routines, and your preferences for child care. Weâll then share 3 personalized recommendations that we think might be a good fit. Weâll also give you a timeline that maps out when we would suggest you start touring programs, choose a daycare, and pay a deposit to secure a spot. Your timeline is based on when you want to start care - so you set the pace, and you decide when youâve found the right match.
Nope. Our daycare recommendation service is free for parents. The other half of our business is helping these small-scale daycares with software and services that handle all their administrative tasks, like online contracting, payment processing, and licensing requirements. Before NeighborSchools, services like these were only designed for large corporate child care centers, and part of our mission is to level the playing field for small, independent child care programs. Thatâs why we picked the name NeighborSchools - weâre all about making child care more personal, more human, and more equitable for the incredible individuals who do this work and care for our children.
Generally, if youâre here, youâre ready. The survey lets us give you 3 recommendations to consider, but itâll also help you better understand what factors to consider, and what questions to be asking right now. Itâs simple things like where you live, your childâs date of birth, when you want to start care, and if you have any preferences around program philosophy or language of instruction. If youâre planning 6+ months ahead, itâs a great way to get started, and if youâre hoping to start daycare in the next 2-4 months, itâs definitely time to get started. Click here to start the survey.
Each program has a limited number of spots for each age range, so we need to know your schedule and childâs age before we can share availability. The survey covers these basics, as well as factors like drop-off and pick-up times to make sure that recommended programs fit your daily routine. Once we know your childâs age and schedule we can share rates and costs as well.
Weâre online Monday - Friday from 8am to 6pm Eastern.
Take the survey and get 3 daycare recommendations that fit your preferences. Takes 5 minutes and itâs 100% free for parents.
