When smaller is better, home daycare is the best. Find great options for infants & toddlers near you.
I am the mother of three (my youngest is fourteen!), and I have seven years of professional experience in child care—most recently working as an assistant at a home daycare in Brookline. Rosie’s Family Child Care is a culmination of everything I have learned over the years, while also remaining flexible to meet the needs of the unique children in our program. To me, child care is so much more than a job—it’s a passion. Of course, the days are filled with hard work, but it is such a joy to be with the children and learn from them. I never lose sight of how lucky I am to be able to help children grow into healthy and happy adults.
I have been teaching for 13 years. I love the outdoors and live on 10 acres of land with a Christmas tree farm. My philosophy is that all children are competent and capable and should have the opportunity everyday to learn and play in an aesthetically pleasing environment. I teach a play based program that is Reggio inspired.
I have over 15 years of experience working with children and am excited for many more ahead! After completing a Master’s degree in Home Science Specialization in Extension Education in 1999, I was an owner and Director of a Toddler Preschool Center for 3 years. I then earned my Early Childhood Education Certification as Lead Teacher for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I also worked as a substitute teacher in public schools in Foxborough, Walpole, and Sharon for a year, before getting a great opportunity to work in Early Intervention as a Group Coordinator and Lead Teacher for babies and toddlers for 3 years. While there, I worked on case studies and did assessments and evaluations. I also got certified as a Development Specialist through the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. It was always my dream ton pursue my own family child care program. Since the time of my master’s, I knew it was my goal. After gaining experience in the field and taking EEC credit courses, I got my EEC license in 2018 and was very excited to open my family child care program in my home setting. I have always focused on my dream of working with children and making an impact on their little minds to nurture learning through fun-based activities. Within my therapeutic environment for playing and learning, I treasure helping the children transition to being independent. What could be better than a day that begins and ends with a smile!
I started working with children in a home child care program in 2007, and I have been working as a teacher in various daycare programs ever since. I love to work with kids, and it has always been my dream to open my own program. I have so much experience to share with children. It’s so exciting that now I do it in a program that I design and direct. Working with children is incredibly rewarding for me because every child is different. When they’re little, I love to watch them start talking and walking. When they’re a little older, I love to teach them and see their progress as they learn shapes and numbers. I have helped so many children work through their individual challenges and achieve personal gains. I love to see them happy when they’re learning.

Get your own recommendations based on your preferences, daily routine, and what matters most to you.
Your family is unique to you, but some of your questions might not be. 😉 Here’s what most parents want to know when starting out.
Most first-time parents don’t know exactly what they’re looking for, so we created a simple survey that will ask you questions about your lifestyle, your daily routines, and your preferences for child care. We’ll then share 3 personalized recommendations that we think might be a good fit. We’ll also give you a timeline that maps out when we would suggest you start touring programs, choose a daycare, and pay a deposit to secure a spot. Your timeline is based on when you want to start care - so you set the pace, and you decide when you’ve found the right match.
Nope. Our daycare recommendation service is free for parents. The other half of our business is helping these small-scale daycares with software and services that handle all their administrative tasks, like online contracting, payment processing, and licensing requirements. Before NeighborSchools, services like these were only designed for large corporate child care centers, and part of our mission is to level the playing field for small, independent child care programs. That’s why we picked the name NeighborSchools - we’re all about making child care more personal, more human, and more equitable for the incredible individuals who do this work and care for our children.
Generally, if you’re here, you’re ready. The survey lets us give you 3 recommendations to consider, but it’ll also help you better understand what factors to consider, and what questions to be asking right now. It’s simple things like where you live, your child’s date of birth, when you want to start care, and if you have any preferences around program philosophy or language of instruction. If you’re planning 6+ months ahead, it’s a great way to get started, and if you’re hoping to start daycare in the next 2-4 months, it’s definitely time to get started. Click here to start the survey.
Each program has a limited number of spots for each age range, so we need to know your schedule and child’s age before we can share availability. The survey covers these basics, as well as factors like drop-off and pick-up times to make sure that recommended programs fit your daily routine. Once we know your child’s age and schedule we can share rates and costs as well.
We’re online Monday - Friday from 8am to 6pm Eastern.
Take the survey and get 3 daycare recommendations that fit your preferences. Takes 5 minutes and it’s 100% free for parents.
